Old Vine Ranch represents the perfect blend of tradition and spirit.
My father Chris Bilbro created Old Vine Red in 1978 and was hailed a pioneer in the techniques of blending of varietals and vintages. It was his goal to make good, honest wine without pretense and from the heart.
It is my honor to continue the legacy of our iconic Old Vine Red, and celebrate the diversity of California’s vineyards with three additional varietals of balanced, textured, and delicious wines….. carefully crafted and curated to be an easy indulgence and everyday celebration.
Each sip is the result of generations of passion and craftsmanship, and a journey through California’s rich winemaking heritage.

Growing up, I learned the magic of seeking out simple pleasures. Our family dinners were always delicious and uncomplicated, my dad serving a wine he specially blended in the cellar to match the flavors on the plate. This wine is the result of that passion: a supple, rich expression of sun and earth, with plenty of structure and balance. The original red blend, Old Vine Red continues to celebrate California, creativity and most of all, family and friends.
